I purchased a 2.5m Observadome from Astromart. My father, a friend and I picked it up in Northern Ca. on November 19th, 2004. We had to disassemble it, and trailer it home.

It was installed on the new observatory on March 5th, 2005 (ref. observatory construction).

A Meade 16" LX200 GPS with standard coatings was ordered from O.P.T. on 04/22/2005. The scope was delivered on July 17th, 2005 .  It was mounted polar on a custom pier.

Imaging is now done with a modified 3" TPO temp. compensating focuser, Apogee Alta U6 camera and a Celestron 0.63 focal reducer to shorten the 4064mm focal length down to 3500mm (f8.7) which yields a field of view of 24.1 x 24.1 arc-minutes.

Scope/camera/dome control is done with the SkyX.
